His work focuses on developing advanced algorithms for analyzing medical data—particularly imaging and multimodal clinical information—to improve diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment evaluation.

He has contributed to research in areas such as cancer prediction, polyp detection, and neurological outcome analysis, with applications aimed at enhancing clinical decision-making and patient care.

Jawdat Mustafa Tashan is an associate professor of civil and structural engineering and the director of the Civil Engineering program at University of Kurdistan Hewlêr. His expertise centers on structural engineering, with research focusing on green concrete, sustainable construction solutions, structural performance evaluation, and advanced composite materials.

He combines strong academic experience—with previous roles in Canada and Australia—with extensive industry involvement, including managing large-scale engineering projects and contributing to international collaborations in engineering research and innovation.

Masoud Muhammed Hassan is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Zakho, specializing in data science, applied statistics, machine learning, and Bayesian deep learning. His research focuses on artificial intelligence methods for uncertainty quantification, healthcare data analysis, and predictive modeling, with a strong emphasis on medical imaging and classification problems..
